All students must have a current book – AHA BLS Provider Student Manual (2020 CPR & ECC Guidelines – located on the back of the cover). This book is REQUIRED for the class. You can do one of the following:

Purchase book from High Desert Safety Solutions during online class enrollment. *
Purchase a book from High Desert Safety Solutions during check-in for class.
Bring a current book to class if you have one.
You may pick up a purchased book prior to class. Book WILL NOT BE MAILED.

CPR AED

The Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed to prepare students to provide CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card. You will learn:

CPR – Adult, Child, Infant
Use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
Choking – Adult, Child, Infant

Students practice and demonstrate their skills with an AHA Instructor and receives a Heartsaver CPR AED card, valid for two (2) years.

First Aid CPR AED Online

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online Course is designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. It offers the basics of recognizing and administering first aid for the most common life-threatening emergencies. This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card. You will learn:

First aid basics
Medical emergencies
Injury emergencies
Environmental emergencies
CPR – Adult, Child, Infant
Use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
Choking – Adult, Child, Infant

First Aid instruction includes bandaging, bleeding, wounds, choking, shock, seizure, fainting, broken bones, sprains, burns, bites, stings, poison, and temperature-related conditions. CPR includes Adult, Child, and Infant and AED use.

Students practice and demonstrate their skills with an AHA Instructor and receives a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED card, valid for two (2) years.

Attend Scheduled Skills Session
After completing the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online Course and printing the Certificate of Completion, attend scheduled Skills Session and receive an AHA card.
